Notes on taking back used batteries
According to the Battery Act (BattG), batteries must not be disposed of as household waste.
You are therefore legally obliged to return old batteries. As distributors of batteries, we are obliged to take back used batteries (with the exception of products with built-in old batteries), whereby our obligation to take back batteries is limited to old batteries of the type which we carry or have carried as new batteries in our range, as well as to the quantity which end users usually dispose of.
You can therefore either return used batteries to us with sufficient postage or hand them in free of charge directly at our dispatch warehouse at the following address:
Our sub-supplier has fulfilled its obligation to report to the Federal Environment Agency.

Bedeutung der Batteriesymbole
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out dustbin. Batteries containing harmful substances are specially marked with chemical symbols. In the case of batteries containing more than 0.0005 mass percent mercury, more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium or more than 0.004 mass percent lead, the chemical designation of the respective pollutant used is located under the waste bin symbol - "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for lead, and "Hg" for mercury.
